I found the following video on youtube. It provides some great information about how the subconscious mind works. It also introduces the concept of triggers though it doesn't use that word. Triggers are essentially emotional reactions to anything around you. In the video he provides some examples. It is one of the main reasons I love subliminal messages because they provide a great way to reset some of those negative triggers.
